Having choked on the disappointment of my Hunter Balmoral wellies splitting, peeling and cracking so dramatically, I set about turning my attention to an alternative to Hunter Boots. What if a welly existed that was far superior to the Hunter Balmoral in manufacturing method, quality, robustness and price? Does this product exist?
Yep! There are loads of alternatives to Hunter wellies. However, I decided to apply myself and produce my own alternative. I call them ‘Shunters’:

This results in a boot that is far superior in quality and performance to the off-the-shelf version.
